The most common risks in real estate transactions in Spain are fake listings, unauthorized agents, and deposit fraud. At CARAMOON, we explain the official process step by step and review all documents together with our clients.
Pre-transaction verification
- Check the property registry (Nota Simple) and tax status.
- Verify the seller’s identity and the validity of any power of attorney.
- Make payments only after a notarized contract and through official accounts.
- Ensure your advisor is a licensed real estate agent.
If you see a suspicious offer, do not rush. Contact us — we provide a free preliminary assessment.
